Bolga baskets get their name from the region of Ghana where abundant veta vera grass is woven to create these hardy, useful African baskets.

This Natural Bolga market basket is made by artisans in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana. They weave these beautiful and durable baskets from thick, tough elephant grass.

These baskets are great for taking to the farmers market, keeping around the house to put toys, books and other items to keep tidy but nearby. Each basket is one of a kind, in a unique pattern, and the leather wrapped handle adds to the durability.

Our Shop

Gather Goods Co is a gift shop featuring gorgeously curated, heirloom quality goods for the home, garden and self. You can shop in-person in our downtown Cary shop or online anytime.

We are also a coworking space with seven private offices that various entrepreneurs rent out as their work spaces. We also have “open coworking” memberships for those bringing their laptops and looking for remote working without a set office.

We host classes as well as intimate private events including baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, reunions and more. We teach private classes as well as and can add these on to your event rental. Classes include flower crowns, embroidery, candle making, wreath making, terrariums and more.
