Gather Goods Co is a gift shop, classroom and coworking space in downtown Cary. Our business started in 2013 and is run by Michelle Smith a 20+ year entrepreneur, maker, and designer.

We are opening up an upstairs communal coworking room and dedicated classroom and looking for a handful of women who want to be a part of our founding group of cohorts. We are keeping this group intentionally small, and have most of our spots filled but there are still a couple left. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of our dynamic and cozy space at an affordable rate for those who don't need a private office. All of our private offices are already leased out through April 2027. Our private office tenants include therapists, speech and language pathologists as well as a jewelry company, all women owned businesses. This is the only opportunity to cowork out of our space until spring of next year. We are limiting access to this community coworking cohort to between 8 and 12 women.

Who is this for? For creative entrepreneurs, writers, designers, therapists, remote workers, makers, and women building thoughtful businesses who are tired of working alone. You also don't have to be an entrepreneur or creative, just someone looking for a space outside of the home to connect and recharge alongside others.

Women looking for a casual, cozy and consistent third space where they can allow their nervous system to reset and focus outside the home, alongside a consistent group of others. It's for you if you are looking for community and working out of your house everyday isn't cutting it and a coffeeshop isn't the right fit either. It's for you if you want casual connection that can go deeper over time and are looking for something to help motivate change or new direction and getting distracted by laundry, the dishes, etc isn't helping. This is not a space where you are expected to come in everyday, instead to just use occassionally as a touchstone and also alongside the others who happen to be there when you are too. It might be empty and times and filled with a handful of others at other times.
